Learn the core loop
Collect materials, brew potions at the Alchemy table, drink them to unlock spells, fight enemies for gold, upgrade your wand, and Ascend when eligible.
Practice parrying before bosses
Press F when the red indicator appears. Practice on Knife Goblins and Pickaxe Dwarves before attempting the Dwarf King.
Add Elemental Shards to potions
Shards boost element-specific brew chances by roughly 50%. Dark is the strongest element for endgame damage. Farm shards from chests and elite enemies.

Ascension
Raises your level cap and grants a permanent 20% XP boost per stage. Your level resets to 0 after ascending, but bonuses remain. Ascend as soon as you hit the cap — XP stops entirely until you do.
Parry (F Key)
When a red combat indicator flashes, press F to parry. Blocks damage and staggers the enemy. Nearly required for the Dwarf King boss. Practice on normal enemies first.
Elemental Shards
Add Fire, Ice, Dark, Light, or Earth Shards to potion recipes for a significant boost toward that element. Dark Shards unlock the highest-damage Legendary potions.
Potion Refinement
Use the Refine machine next to the Alchemy table. Combine 3 identical potion bottles for a reliable S-rank upgrade. Using fewer bottles has a lower success rate and you lose them on failure.
